Terms of Service

By accessing or using WeFixPdfs, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher. You must not use the Service if you are barred under applicable law, including export or sanctions rules.

WeFixPdfs provides utilities to merge, split, organise, convert, watermark, and otherwise process PDF and image files. Some tools run entirely in your browser. Others (labelled Pro) run on our servers when they are made available.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, including free usage limits, with or without notice, except where the law requires otherwise. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

WeFixPdfs is a file-processing utility. It is not a backup service, document-management system, electronic-signature platform with legal-form guarantees, notary, law firm, or medical records system.

You retain all rights in files you process. We do not claim ownership of your documents. You grant us only a limited, revocable licence to process a file on our servers when you submit it to a Pro tool, solely to perform the operation you requested and to return the result.

You represent that you have all rights and consents needed to process each file, including from any people whose personal data appears in the document. You must not upload or process material you are not allowed to handle.

Keep originals. Always keep your own copy of source files. Output may differ from the original (fonts may be substituted, layout may shift, form fields or signatures may not survive). You are responsible for checking the result before you rely on it.

Tools that unlock, decrypt, or bypass restrictions may be used only on files you own or are authorised to access. Using the Service to access someone else's documents without permission is forbidden and may be a crime. We may refuse or terminate processing we reasonably believe is unauthorised.

You agree not to:

• Process illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, or content that incites violence
• Upload malware, exploits, or files designed to harm systems or other users
• Infringe copyright, trademarks, or other rights, or process stolen documents
• Attempt to break into, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service, or circumvent plan limits
• Use automated bulk requests in a way that degrades the Service for others, except via an API we have expressly authorised
• Misrepresent output as an official, notarised, or court-certified document if it is not
• Use the Service in a way that violates export controls or sanctions

We may suspend or terminate access, delete jobs, and report activity to authorities where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

Results are generated by software. We do not warrant that conversions, compression, OCR, or edits are complete, accurate, or suitable for any legal, medical, financial, immigration, or archival purpose. You must review output yourself. WeFixPdfs is not responsible for missed deadlines, rejected filings, or decisions you make based on a processed file.

If accounts are offered, you must provide accurate information and keep login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

Prices, limits, and features are shown at checkout or on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the law requires otherwise. We will not hide recurring charges or trial conversions: if a trial becomes a paid plan, that will be stated clearly before you pay.

Fees are generally non-refundable once a period has started, except where required by law (including mandatory consumer cooling-off rights in some countries). If you are an EEA or UK consumer and digital performance begins during a withdrawal period with your express request and acknowledgement, the right to withdraw may be lost to the extent the Service has been supplied.

Chargebacks made in bad faith after you have used the Service may lead to account suspension. Taxes may be added where we are required to collect them.

The website, software, design, and trademarks of WeFixPdfs are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, resell, or create a competing service from our software except as allowed by a separate written licence or by mandatory law (for example limited reverse engineering rights).

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT FILES WILL BE PROCESSED WITHOUT LOSS OF QUALITY, METADATA, FONTS, OR INTERACTIVE FEATURES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WeFixPdfs AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD, OR (B) USD 50 IF YOU USED ONLY THE FREE SERVICE.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). If you are a consumer, you keep all rights that the law does not allow us to exclude.

You will defend and indemnify WeFixPdfs and its operators against claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your files, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if we must do so for legal or security reasons, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.

We may update these Terms. The new version takes effect when posted, unless a later date is stated. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example a site notice or email if we have your address). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence continue to apply if you are a consumer and those protections cannot be waived.

Courts of competent jurisdiction in Sri Lanka will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring claims in the courts of their place of residence where the law so requires, and either party may seek injunctive relief in any court for IP or abuse.

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement for the Service and replace prior agreements on the same subject. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganisation or sale. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only.
