WeFixPdfs is a set of free PDF tools. Everyday tools (merge, split, organize, rotate, convert images, watermark, page numbers, metadata) run on your device. The tools marked Secure processing are sent over an encrypted connection and removed when your download is ready. You do not need an account.

On-device tools are designed to process files on your computer. We do not ask those tools to send your document. That design can fail because of bugs, browser behaviour, extensions, or future product changes. See the Privacy Policy. The tools marked Secure processing send the file over an encrypted connection. It is processed and removed when your download is ready. It is not kept as an archive.

Yes. All listed tools are free and do not require a card or an account. We do not add a watermark to those downloads. On-device tools have no daily cap. The tools marked Secure processing are limited to 10 files per day from your network, until a paid plan exists.

No. Open a tool, pick a file, and download the result. There is no login.

On-device tools accept files up to 150 MB each. Very large files may be slower or fail if your device runs out of memory. The tools marked Secure processing accept up to 50 MB, and 10 files per day from your network.

Every PDF tool on the homepage, including merge, split, organize, rotate, image conversion, watermark, page numbers, metadata, compress, OCR, Office conversion, PDF/A, extract images, split by size, remove blank pages, flatten, unlock, protect, sanitize, and repair. Image convert and compress tools are listed on the Image tools page. The tools marked Secure processing are sent over an encrypted connection and removed when the job finishes.

Yes. Open Word to PDF, Excel to PDF, or PowerPoint to PDF, pick a file up to 50 MB, and download. Those files are sent over an encrypted connection and removed when your download is ready. Other tools marked Secure processing work the same way. Each network can run 10 engine jobs per day.

On-device tools (merge, split, organize, rotate, images, watermark, page numbers, metadata) are unlimited. The tools marked Secure processing share a free cap of 10 files per day from the same network, resetting at midnight UTC. That limit exists to keep the processing box healthy until a paid plan exists.

No. The free in-browser tools do not stamp our name or a watermark on your file unless you use the Watermark tool yourself.

A current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari on a laptop or desktop works best. Mobile browsers can work for smaller files. Processing uses your device, so older phones may struggle with large PDFs.

No. WeFixPdfs is a file-processing utility, not a medical, legal, or backup service. Do not use it for HIPAA-covered health data, classified files, or cardholder data that PCI-DSS requires a vendor to store. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Yes. WeFixPdfs has browser-only image tools for HEIC, JPG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF conversion, plus compress-to-KB. Open Image tools. Those pages do not upload your photos.

Open HEIC to JPG, drop the files, then download. Conversion runs in your browser.

No. This tool is designed to process images on your device. It does not ask to upload them.

Open Merge PDF, drop the files in the order you want, then download the combined PDF. The merge runs in your browser.

Yes. Add the files, then reorder them in the list before you merge.

There is no fixed count. Each file can be up to 150 MB. A very large batch may fail if your browser runs out of memory.

Open Split PDF, choose the file, enter pages or ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-10, then download the new file. This runs in your browser.

You can extract the ranges you type. For many single-page files, run split more than once or extract one range at a time.

Yes. Organize PDF shows page thumbnails. Drag to reorder, rotate pages, delete the ones you do not need, then save. The file stays on your device.

No. You download a new PDF. The file you picked on disk is not overwritten unless you save over it yourself.

Open Rotate PDF, pick the file, choose 90, 180, or 270 degrees, then download. All pages rotate the same way, in your browser.

Use Organize PDF if you need different rotations per page. Rotate PDF turns the whole document at once.

Usually, yes. A single very large page can still exceed the cap. This is meant for email attachments, not exact page ranges — use Split PDF for that.

A ZIP of several PDFs. Extract it, then send the parts you need.

No. Gentle mode only drops pages that are almost entirely white. A faint scan, letterhead, or small mark can keep a page. Always check the download.

Yes, if the page is very light. Start with Gentle. Use Normal only if Gentle left obvious blanks, then review the file.

Open JPG to PDF, drop the images, reorder them if you need to, then download one PDF. Conversion runs on your device.

JPG and PNG are supported. Each image can be up to 150 MB.

Open PDF to JPG, pick the PDF, then download a ZIP of one JPG per page. Pages are rendered in your browser.

This tool is designed to render pages on your device. It does not ask to send the PDF to our servers.

Open Watermark PDF, pick the file, set the text, size, opacity, rotation, and colour, then download. Stamping runs in your browser.

Not yet. The current tool stamps text only.

Open Add Page Numbers, pick the PDF, choose position and the starting number, then download. Numbers are drawn in your browser.

Set the starting number and position; the tool numbers every page in order. There is no “skip cover” option yet.

Open Edit Metadata, pick the file, change title, author, subject, or keywords, then download. Edits stay on your device.

No. It updates document properties. Page content is not rewritten by this tool.

No. It only makes form fields part of the page so they cannot be edited. It does not add a password and does not turn pages into images.

If the PDF had no fillable fields, there is nothing to flatten. Try it on a form you have already filled in.

Yes. Unlike on-device tools, Compress sends the PDF over an encrypted connection. It is processed and removed when your download is ready. It is not kept as an archive.

It depends on the file. Scans and image-heavy PDFs usually shrink more than text-only files. Choose High quality, Balanced, or Smallest. If the file is already small, size may not drop.

50 MB, and 10 engine jobs per day from your network. Larger files are rejected before upload. Large files can take about a minute.

Yes. The PDF is sent over an encrypted connection, processed, and removed when your download is ready. It is not kept.

A few pages are often ready in under a minute. A 20–50 page scan can take several minutes. Keep the tab open until the download starts.

English is the default. You can also select Sinhala, Tamil, German, or French if those packs are on the engine. Pick every language that appears in the scan.

Word .doc and .docx, plus OpenDocument Text (.odt) and RTF, up to 50 MB. The file is sent over an encrypted connection and removed when your download is ready.

Usually close. Fonts, smart art, and complex tables can shift. Check the download before you send it on. For spreadsheets use Excel to PDF; for slides use PowerPoint to PDF.

Not always. Very wide sheets may wrap or split across pages. Check the download. Print area and page setup in Excel often give a cleaner result.

No. Each slide becomes a static PDF page. Notes, animations, and embedded video are not a playable slideshow in the PDF.

No. We convert to PDF/A-2b. A strict validator can still fail if fonts are missing, the file is encrypted, or attachments remain. Keep the original and check the result if you need a formal archive.

No. This pulls images already embedded in the PDF, as PNG files in a ZIP. For a picture of each page, use PDF to JPG, which runs on your device.

A text-only PDF may contain no embedded images. Vector drawings are not extracted as pictures.

No. You must already know the password if the file will not open. We do not guess, crack, or recover forgotten passwords.

Leave the password field blank and run Unlock. That tries to remove usage restrictions on a file you can already view.

An open password. Anyone who opens the file needs it. We do not store the password. The PDF is sent over an encrypted connection and removed when your download is ready.

Yes, with Unlock PDF, if you still know the password.

No. It removes JavaScript, embedded files, and metadata. It is not a virus scanner and cannot guarantee the file is harmless. Links and fonts stay so the document still opens.

Many people need working links. We do not strip them, or fonts, because that often breaks the file. If you need a stricter clean, use a dedicated security workflow.

No. It rebuilds file structure (cross-reference tables and streams). Pages that were never saved, or a file that is mostly empty, cannot come back.

Usually no. Use Organize or Compress instead. Repair is for files that will not open or that other tools reject as damaged.
